As part of the visit to China of the Uzbek delegation headed by the khokim of the Samarkand region Adiz Babayev, a major forum was held dedicated to the trade, economic, investment and tourism potential of the region.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on measures for ensuring population’s employment and poverty reduction based on new approaches.

On January 16, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev dedicated to discussing results of work on wide attraction of investments, increasing export volume and defining main tasks for the future. 

It is hard to imagine economic development in any country in the world where the agricultural sector does not receive special attention. The well-being of citizens in each country depends on the level of development of agriculture. Only through the development of the agricultural sector is it possible to produce the products necessary for life and beneficial for the health of the country's population, as well as to improve the system of its processing. Moreover, this contributes to an increase in the number of jobs for rural residents in remote areas.
