According to the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, over the past few years our country has undergone an accelerated transformation of the economy and increasingly appears in the international community as one of the symbols of openness, innovation and determination in removing various barriers to business and investment. On November 27, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in the launch ceremony of projects to connect a modern combined-cycle power plant with a capacity of 1,500 megawatts to the electricity supply network in the Syrdarya region and the start of construction of a pilot production of "green hydrogen" in the Tashkent region, implemented jointly with the leading Saudi company ACWA Power.
