On the sidelines of the C5+1 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Samarkand, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Mukhtar Tileuberdi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In Samarkand, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, who is in Uzbekistan to attend a meeting of foreign ministers in the C5+1 format.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the development work carried out at the Imam Maturidi Memorial Complex in Samarkand.

Continuing his visit to the Samarkand region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the construction of a bridge across the Karadarya River.

In keeping with tradition, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev began his visit to Samarkand at the Imam Bukhari Memorial Complex. Verses from the Qur’an were recited and prayers were offered.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the heads of leading Chinese companies CAMCE, China Energy and Sinoma Energy on the sidelines of the meeting of the Council of Foreign Investors in the Fuel and Energy Sector.
