On August 28, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a Special Envoy of the President of the United States for global partnerships Paolo Zampolli, who’s currently in our country on a working visit.

On August 27, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the new airport built on the basis on “Tashkent – East” airfield. 

On August 27, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation headed by minister of foreign affairs of Japan Takeshi Iwaya, who’s currently in our country with an official visit.

On August 27, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev laid the foundation stone for the construction of the National Museum of Uzbekistan. 

In accordance with the decrees of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, representatives of various spheres were awarded with titles, orders and medals on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence. 

The state visit of the King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Uzbekistan has concluded.

In conclusion of the Uzbek-Jordanian summit, a ceremony of joint tree planting took place.

During the state visit of the King of Jordan, a ceremony was held to award the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the Order of Jordan “Al Nahda” (“Renaissance”).

Following fruitful negotiations in Samarkand, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan adopted a joint statement on strengthening partnership relations.
